PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Avalanche is women’s outdoor footwear with more feminine touch and unique design for Jambu. Jambu is a women’s outdoor footwear brand that carries nature and organic look and feel. Leaf quilt and tribal bow tie and webbing becomes the identity of this footwear.
Material
Leaf stitch quit on ripstop nylon fabric. Microfiber inner liner for heat preserving. Pantone color chosen thread webbing for bow and weave thru the eyelets or buttonholes.
Challenges
The seam had inconsistent leaf pattern. So had to refigure the composition or scale of the leaf pattern. The mud guard had a issue with the regulation of waterproof boots so had to raise up the quarter pattern. The leaf quilt has water ingress issue so had to resolve the backing material to more densed non-woven material.
